Overview

The 5.11 Stryke Pant is the pant most people mean when they say "tactical pants." It is the default duty recommendation for law enforcement, security, and armed professionals, and for good reason: the Flex-Tac mechanical stretch ripstop moves with you, resists abrasion, and shrugs off stains and light rain thanks to a Teflon and DWR finish.

The 12-pocket layout is the practical heart of the pant, with a self-adjusting Comfort waistband that gives you an inch of stretch when you sit, kneel, or add a belt setup. At 6.8 oz the fabric is substantial without being hot, which is why it works as a year-round duty pant across most climates.

Two things to know. First, 5.11 makes the Stryke in a women's cut, so it fits a wider range of bodies than most duty pants. Second, the standard Stryke does not have internal knee pad pockets. If you need pad channels, buy the 5.11 Stryke TDU instead. For everyone else, the Stryke is the safe, proven, do-everything duty pant.
