The custom AR-15 path alone was selected 9,295 times out of 22,464 platform selections, 41% of the total and roughly 23 times the volume of the most popular factory rifle, the PSA PA-15 at 408.

Across all 11,844 component-selecting sessions, the most-repeated independently assembled part list appeared just 17 times, an 11-part Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 build. Second place, a 13-part HK MR556-A4, appeared 14 times.

The REIN 3.0 logged 828 selections, ahead of the Streamlight ProTac HL-X at 543 and every SureFire in the catalog, whose best showing was the M640V Pro at 403.

The $80 BCM Gunfighter charging handle drew 739 selections against the Radian Raptor-LT at 676, the one control category where the cheaper part wins outright. Radian still leads safeties with the Talon at 615.

The SSA-E holds first at 736 selections, with the LaRue MBT-2S second at 652 while costing roughly half as much, and the standard Geissele SSA third at 646.
