Rifle Configurator participates in affiliate advertising programs. When you click on product links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This is how we fund the site and continue creating free content, tools, and resources.

Product Samples

Most of the gear we photograph and test we bought ourselves. Some of it was supplied free by the manufacturer for review. Where that is the case we name the brand and the product on the page itself, next to whatever we said about it, so you never have to come here to find out.

A supplied sample buys coverage, not a verdict. We keep the product, we owe nobody a rewrite, and no manufacturer sees a page before it goes live. If a sampled product is worse than something we paid for, it ranks below it.
