Overview

The PIG FDT (Full Dexterity Tactical) Alpha is the glove most serious shooters land on when trigger feel is the priority. The palm is built as a single-layer multi-piece panel of AX Suede, so only one thickness of material ever sits between your hand and the gun, eliminating the bunched, padded feel that hides grip texture and controls on thicker gloves.

The defining feature is the trigger finger: PIG isolates it and builds it from the thinnest material on the glove, so the pad of your index finger reads the trigger face, take-up, and wall almost as if bare. The thumb and index are conductive for touchscreen use, and the inner fourchettes between the fingers are ventilated to wick sweat during long strings of fire.

This is a feel-first glove, not an impact glove. There is no knuckle armor and no palm padding, which is the entire point: the Alpha protects against abrasion, brass, and hot rails while preserving the manipulation speed and tactility that hard-knuckle gloves sacrifice. For range work, carbine courses, and duty use where dexterity beats blunt-force protection, it sets the standard.
