Concealable HYPERLINE Level IIIA Vest

Safe Life's Concealable HYPERLINE is the soft armor vest that disappears under a polo. At 0.19 inches per panel — roughly the thickness of a magazine cover — it is the thinnest NIJ Certified Level IIIA vest on the consumer market. The HYPERLINE designation refers to Safe Life's proprietary aramid composite, which delivers the same .44 Magnum / 9mm / .357 Magnum / .357 SIG / .45 ACP threat coverage as a standard 0.4-inch IIIA vest in half the package.

NIJ 0101.06 certification is the real credibility here. Safe Life submitted the HYPERLINE through the full NIJ Compliance Testing Program and earned a spot on the Compliant Products List. The V50 numbers — 1,739 fps for .44 Magnum, 1,729 fps for 9mm — are well above the 1,400 fps NIJ test velocities, which gives meaningful margin against hot loads. Slash and blunt-force protection are also part of the standard package.

The use case is plainclothes work. Detective, dignitary protection, civilian CCW under a tucked dress shirt, or anyone whose threat model is handgun-only and whose appearance constraint is "looks like a normal person." Sizing is XS-3XL, with the price varying by panel size ($1,078-1,153). Five-year warranty on panels plus an incident replacement guarantee: if the vest takes a hit and stops a round, Safe Life replaces it.
