Overview

The RunCam Scope Cam 2 4K is a forward-facing telephoto camera with its own lens and an integral Picatinny mount. It follows the rifle's aim line, but it does not look through the riflescope. That distinction matters when the reticle, magnification setting, or exact sight picture needs to appear in the recording.

The lens determines the framing. RunCam offers 40 mm and 35 mm options for distant subjects, a 25 mm option for rifles and SMGs, and a 3.6 mm option for close-range use. Recording tops out at 4K at 30 fps, while 2.7K reaches 60 fps and 1080p reaches 120 fps. Flashback mode saves the ten seconds before a button press and the fifteen seconds after it, so the camera can preserve a short clip without storing a full session.

Key Features

  • 4K at 30 fps, 2.7K at 60 fps, and 1080p up to 120 fps

  • Flashback mode saves 10 seconds before and 15 seconds after the button press
