Parker Mountain Machine
Enlarged bolt-release paddle for the FN SCAR that lets you drop the bolt with a small trigger-finger movement.
The factory FN SCAR bolt release is functional but small, and dropping the bolt on a reload means breaking your firing grip to reach it. PMM's BCD (Battery Control Device) replaces it with an enlarged, finely serrated paddle that you can hit with a small movement of the trigger finger, keeping the support hand on the magazine during a reload. It is machined from 6061 aluminum with an 8625 Type 3 Class 2 hardcoat finish, weighs under an ounce, and installs in minutes with no permanent modification.
It comes in Black or FDE to match the rifle. At $60 it is a mid-priced ergonomic upgrade that meaningfully speeds up reloads on a platform whose factory controls were designed for a service rifle, not competition speed. Sold direct from Parker Mountain Machine.
