The 26-inch blued steel barrel and American walnut stock give it a traditional field-gun layout.

Henry drills and taps the steel receiver for a Weaver 82 base, though the base is not included. The barrel uses Rem-style internal choke threads and ships with a Modified tube. At 40 1/2 inches overall and 6.74 pounds, it has a youth stock without becoming an ultralight or very short shotgun.
