The RS500i is a full-height rifle safe with a 53.25-inch interior that stands an AR-15 upright, and its 360-degree biometric scanner opens it in under a second. That combination of long-gun capacity and true quick access is rare. It stores five to six rifles (Vaultek's own copy and comparison chart disagree on the exact number) plus handguns and magazines on the door, and the ViSN system pushes tamper, impact, and temperature alerts to your phone over WiFi. Access falls back to an 8-digit keypad, a Nano Key, and two physical keys. It has no fire rating, so it is a security-and-speed safe, not a document safe.
