The Longshot Ranger is the short-range entry in the current Longshot line. It creates its own wireless connection and sends a 1920x1080 target image to the Longshot app on an iOS or Android device. Its stated limit is 100 yards, and its battery is rated for up to six hours.
The Ranger does not use a separate receiver and does not support extra cameras. That keeps the kit simple, but it also fixes the system at one target view and makes it a poor fit once the firing line moves beyond 100 yards.
