Midwest Industries HK MP5 M-LOK Handguard

The Midwest Industries MP5 M-LOK handguard replaces the factory slim forend with a one-piece 6061-T6 aluminum tube that carries a full-length MIL-STD 1913 top rail plus M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. That top rail is the point: a standard SP5 or MP5 ships with no optic rail, so mounting a red dot normally means a receiver clamp or a claw mount. This handguard gives you a continuous top rail from the receiver forward, so an optic, backup irons, and a light can all live on the same gun.

Machined from hard-coat anodized aluminum and weighing roughly 4.8 oz, it is rigid enough to hold a zero on a rail-mounted optic where the factory polymer forend flexes. The M-LOK sides and bottom take a scout light, a hand stop, or a sling mount without the clamp-on rail sections the classic MP5 tropical forend requires.

Fitment covers 9mm MP5-pattern receivers: full-size MP5/SP5, the MKE AP5, the German Sport Guns ZF-5, and the MAC-5. It does not fit the .22 LR MP5, which uses a different barrel and forend interface. Confirm your host is a 9mm receiver before ordering.
