The Modlite Multi-Mode Handheld PLHv2-18650 Light Package puts the PLHv2 head on a handheld body with the Thyrm LPC tailcap, an 18650 cell, and an XTAR MC2 charger. You get 1,350 lumens and 54,000 candela in a compact duty-handheld package, with the same high-candela beam profile that makes the PLHv2 popular on rifles.
The cool white 5700K emitter cuts through fog and rain better than warmer tints, and the tight hotspot gives you positive identification past 100 yards. Runtime on high is approximately 75 minutes on an 18650 cell. The Thyrm LPC provides a press-for-momentary, twist-for-constant interface and accepts standard SureFire Z41-pattern tailcap accessories.
This is the handheld for people who already know they want the high-candela Modlite beam profile and do not mind carrying 6 ounces. If you want lighter and cheaper, look at the Noxon Anark below. If you want to share one light head between a handheld and a rifle, this is the move.
