Modlite
Maximum throw weapon light with 69,000 candela. Tightest hotspot in class for long-range target ID.
The Modlite OKW (Optimized Kinetic Window) represents the extreme end of weapon light throw performance, delivering 680 lumens with 69,000 candela for maximum reach and target identification at extended distances. Unlike flood-oriented lights that prioritize lumens, the OKW sacrifices raw output for candela-per-lumen efficiency, creating the tightest hotspot available in the weapon light market. This focused beam profile enables positive identification (PID) of threats at ranges exceeding 500 meters, making it the preferred choice for users operating with magnified optics or in open environments.
The OKW's highly collimated beam minimizes spill compared to the PLHv2, concentrating energy into a laser-like hotspot that cuts through fog, dust, and atmospheric conditions with exceptional efficiency. This characteristic makes it particularly effective when paired with low-power variable optics (LPVOs) or fixed magnification optics, as the tight beam doesn't create excessive backscatter or washout when viewed through glass. Users running night vision devices also benefit from the focused output, which provides sufficient illumination for passive aiming without overwhelming image intensifier tubes.
Built on Modlite's proven modular platform, the OKW features the same bombproof construction as the PLHv2: 6061 Series aluminum with Mil-Spec hard anodizing, fully potted drivers rated for SCAR 17 recoil, and BOROFLOAT lens with 98-99% transmittance. The 18650 body provides approximately 75 minutes of runtime, while 18350 and dual CR123A compatibility offers mission flexibility. Complete SureFire Scout ecosystem compatibility ensures users can leverage existing mounts, switches, and accessories.
