ProMag
Aftermarket 32-round steel magazine for range use
The ProMag Springfield Echelon 32-round magazine is a budget aftermarket extended magazine for range and competition use. Heat-treated steel body with a non-reflective finish, an injection-molded follower, and a heat-treated chrome silicon wire spring.
At $22 street it is less than half the cost of a factory Springfield 20-round magazine while delivering 12 extra rounds. The tradeoff is durability and reliability: ProMag has a reputation for inconsistent quality control across runs, and most shooters reserve these for range training rather than duty or home defense. The Shield Arms +5 extension on a factory 17-round body (22+1 total) is the higher-reliability path to extended capacity; the ProMag 32-round is the pick only when you need maximum rounds per magazine change and do not care about duty reliability.
