Shield Arms +5 Magazine Extension for Echelon

The Shield Arms +5 Magazine Extension adds five rounds to the factory Springfield Echelon 17-round magazine, bringing total capacity to 22+1. Machined from billet aluminum and hard-anodized, it replaces the factory polymer basepad with a skeletonized aluminum body that takes the extended spring and follower needed for the extra capacity.

This is a capacity extension, not a standalone magazine. It is compatible only with the factory Echelon 17-round magazine body. It will not fit the 10-round, 15-round, or 20-round factory bodies, and it will not fit any aftermarket body including ProMag. Verify your magazine before ordering.

The extension is backed by Shield Arms' lifetime warranty. Shield Arms also sells a pre-installed variant where the extension arrives already mounted on a factory 17-round magazine, saving the hands-on install step for shooters who want plug-and-play extended capacity.
