The RD1355 is the single-drawer module from ARB's Outback Solutions system, cut for the 2016-2023 Tacoma bed. What matters for firearm transport is the internal length: 49.4 inches by 17.1 wide by 9.8 deep swallows a collapsed 16-inch carbine, a folded PCC, loaded magazines, and a medical kit in one lockable compartment, laid flat instead of stood in a corner where it slides on every turn. The drawer is water-resistant bonded marine plywood over a steel frame with folded stainless bearing runners, rated to 275 pounds, and it uses a self-locking anti-rollback catch that holds the drawer open on an incline. Access is a push-pull slam-shut latch with a key. Treat that key as a deterrent against a curious hand at a trailhead, not as a security rating: ARB publishes no burglary or firearm-safety certification for this line, and a determined thief with time defeats a plywood-and-steel drawer.
