Awesafe Biometric Gun Safe

The Awesafe biometric box is the answer when the budget is under $100 and you still want a fingerprint reader instead of a fumbling keypad in the dark. It gives you three ways in, a fingerprint scanner, a digital keypad, and a backup key, and a gas strut pops the lid open with an interior LED lighting the contents. The reinforced solid-steel body (Awesafe does not publish a gauge) holds one handgun and has pre-drilled holes and hardware to bolt it down. While it will not match a Fort Knox or Vaultek on steel thickness or reader speed, it is a legitimate quick-access box at a price where the alternative is often no safe at all.
