GG&G Single Point Sling Attachment (Mossberg 500/590)

The GG&G single-point sling attachment for Mossberg 500/590 replaces the rear stock or grip bolt with a manganese phosphate-coated steel loop that accepts any single-point sling. On a Shockwave or TAC-14 with no stock, a single-point sling is the primary retention method: it keeps the firearm on the body during vehicle exits, movement through doorways, and transitions to a handgun.

Installation requires removing the factory stock or grip bolt, threading the GG&G mount onto the receiver, and re-installing the grip. The mount sits flush against the receiver and does not increase the overall length. GG&G also makes a front sling attachment (GGG-1084-2) that bolts to the magazine tube cap for a two-point sling configuration, but on a Shockwave the single-point rear mount is the standard setup because the 14-inch barrel does not leave enough forearm real estate for comfortable two-point carry.
