Key Takeaways
- →Biggest code: Brownells' HONOR1776 takes 17.76% off almost everything, against 13% with TYVETS at OpticsPlanet.
- →Longest window: Brownells and Chase Tactical run through November 15. Everything else ends on Veterans Day, November 11.
- →Optics: both big codes exclude certain brands, so price the same optic at both stores with each code in the cart and buy the lower total.
- →Free shipping: CMC Triggers and San Tan Tactical ship every order free through November 11 with no code, which helps most on small parts orders.
- →Military discount: CMC and San Tan's Frontline Honor Program gives verified military, veterans and first responders their own code.

Where to Use the OpticsPlanet and Brownells Codes
Both big codes are sitewide, so they are at their best on the single expensive item you were already planning to buy, usually an optic. Brownells' 17.76% is the larger number, but both retailers exclude certain brands, and their prices before the code are not always the same. Put the same optic in the cart at both, apply each code, and buy from the lower total. If one store excludes the brand, the other code is the one that counts.
For a red dot, start with our AR-15 red dot rankings and pick the model before you shop the codes. If you want magnification, the red dot and magnifier combo guide and the LPVO rankings cover the two ways to get it. Brownells' code runs four days longer, so if you are still deciding on November 11, Brownells is the code that will still be open.
CMC Trigger Deals: Free Shipping Through November 11
CMC Triggers ships every order free from November 6 through November 11 with no code. That covers its drop-in AR triggers, lower parts kits and bolt carrier groups. CMC also launched a Frontline Honor Program for Veterans Day, which sends verified military, veterans and first responders their own discount code. For how CMC's single-stage and two-stage drop-ins compare with the rest of the field, see our AR-15 trigger guide.

How to Shop the Veterans Day Sales
Buy against a list you made before the sale. A sitewide code is worth the most on the one big item you were already going to buy, and free shipping is worth the most on the small parts order you kept putting off. Check the cart total before you pay, since every code here carries exclusions or a threshold.
Most of these sales close on November 11, and Black Friday codes start soon after. For price drops between the holidays, watch the live deals board.
