Overview
The Primos Trigger Stick Gen3 Tall Tripod is a freestanding shooting rest, not a rifle accessory. Nothing bolts to the gun: the rifle sits in the yoke, so it works with any rifle a hunter owns, which is why it is one of the safest gifts for someone whose gear you do not know.
The trigger in the handle is the whole point. Pull it and the three legs adjust to any height between 24 and 62 inches with one hand. That covers a seated shot in a ground blind up to a standing shot over tall grass, set up one-handed while the other hand holds the rifle. The Quick Detach yoke system swaps the V-yoke for camera and spotting scope accessories, and rubber feet grip uneven ground.
A tripod is the most stable Trigger Stick configuration and also the bulkiest. Primos makes bipod and monopod versions for hunters who cover more ground and value a lighter carry.
