North American Rescue
Individual patrol officer trauma kit with CAT tourniquet, Hyfin chest seal, and emergency trauma dressing. Vacuum-sealed for compact carry.
The North American Rescue IPOK (Individual Patrol Officer Kit) contains the minimum essential items to address the three most survivable causes of preventable death from trauma: extremity hemorrhage, tension pneumothorax, and compressible wound bleeding. If you carry a firearm for self-defense, carrying the means to treat the wounds firearms create is not optional. It is a responsibility.
The kit centers on three proven components. The CAT (Combat Application Tourniquet) Gen 7 is the standard of care for extremity hemorrhage, adopted by every branch of the US military and most law enforcement agencies. The Hyfin Vent Compact chest seal (twin pack) addresses penetrating chest injuries that can cause tension pneumothorax. The emergency trauma dressing provides wound packing and pressure application for torso or junctional bleeds where a tourniquet cannot be applied.
The entire kit ships vacuum-sealed to minimize size and protect components from moisture. This compact form factor allows carry on a belt, in a plate carrier, in a range bag, or in a vehicle console. The vacuum seal also extends component shelf life. Get training before you need to use this kit. A tourniquet without training is nearly useless. Take a Stop the Bleed course or equivalent at minimum.
