North American Rescue
Individual patrol officer hemorrhage-control kit with a CAT tourniquet, S-rolled gauze, 4-inch emergency trauma dressing, gloves, and vacuum-sealed packaging for compact carry.
The North American Rescue IPOK (Individual Patrol Officer Kit) is a compact hemorrhage-control package built around the items most likely to be used first: a CAT Gen 7 tourniquet, S-rolled gauze, a 4-inch emergency trauma dressing, and nitrile gloves. If you carry a firearm for self-defense, carrying the means to treat life-threatening bleeding is not optional. It is a responsibility.
The CAT (Combat Application Tourniquet) Gen 7 is the standard of care for extremity hemorrhage, adopted by every branch of the US military and many law enforcement agencies. The S-rolled gauze and emergency trauma dressing provide packing and pressure application for compressible wounds where a tourniquet cannot be applied. The compact, vacuum-sealed package is easier to keep in a pocket, bag, or vehicle console than a full pouch-based IFAK.
The standard IPOK is not a chest-seal-inclusive trauma kit. If penetrating chest injury coverage is part of your scenario, stage a HyFin Compact Twin Pack or similar vented chest seal separately. Get training before you need to use any of this. A tourniquet without training is nearly useless. Take a Stop the Bleed course or equivalent at minimum.
Add the North American Rescue IPOK Trauma Kit to your build and see how it enhances your platform.
