Taurus TX22 T.O.R.O. optic footprint: what red dots fit
The Taurus TX22 T.O.R.O. uses the Shield RMSc optics footprint, machined into the slide, so RMSc-pattern micro dots bolt on with no adapter plate under them. That takes in the Shield RMSc itself, the C&H Precision EDC, EDC Enclosed, Max, and HNT-R Max, the Osight K and SE, the Cyelee CAT EDG, the Gideon Judge II, Judge XL, and Valor Mini, the Swampfox Sentinel II, the SIG Romeo Zero Elite and ROMEO-X Compact, and the enclosed Vortex Defender-CCW, which is a deep field for a rimfire trainer. Trijicon RMR, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, Aimpoint ACRO, and Holosun 509T class optics all sit outside the pattern this slide was cut for.
The T.O.R.O. badge is worth two checks. A TX22 without it has no optic pocket, so the dot waits for a slide that has one. And the TX22 Competition is a separate mounting story: its optic sits on a barrel-mounted bridge that takes its own reversible adapter plates, so nothing about the T.O.R.O. slide cut applies to it. Inside the Taurus lineup the G3c T.O.R.O. shares the name but not the method, running an interchangeable plate system instead of a machined RMSc pocket.
