The DD4 X1 represents Daniel Defense's most advanced rifle platform to date. Developed through Project Hunter in collaboration with British Special Forces, the X1 is purpose-built for signature reduction and enhanced mechanical performance.

The X1 addresses modern battlefield requirements with an IR-defeating Cerakote coating system that reduces the rifle's infrared signature. More significantly, Daniel Defense developed a carbon fiber sleeve that wraps the barrel, dramatically reducing thermal signature during extended fire.
