FAST XP Helmet System (Law Enforcement)

The Ops-Core FAST XP is Gentex's newest production helmet, announced in January 2026 as the first in a planned series of law-enforcement-focused launches. It is the cleanest answer for an agency or LE-adjacent buyer who wants the FAST profile and accessory ecosystem in a configuration purpose-built for patrol and tactical-team use rather than SOF deployments.

Certification is NIJ IIIA plus HG2, which covers 9mm FMJ and .44 Magnum threats with enhanced fragmentation performance. The shell is available in two geometries: High Cut for ARC-rail headset integration, and Mid Cut for users who want more coverage at the cost of headset compatibility. Most patrol officers ordering this will pick the High Cut.

Comfort changes are where the XP differentiates itself from the SF and RF1. The new Ops-Core LockDown Liner is a user-adjustable suspension system designed for heat and moisture management on long shifts. Moisture-wicking fabrics and airflow channels reduce sweat buildup, and the Occ-Dial cable-driven suspension delivers a stable fit when running radios, NVGs, and VAS commonly used in LE missions.
