The Hill People Gear Runner's Kit Bag takes a fundamentally different approach to off-body carry: chest mounting. The mesh-backed H-harness distributes weight across shoulders rather than hips, eliminating the shifting and bouncing that makes waist packs impractical for running, hiking, or any high-movement activity.
The quick-access pistol compartment (11.5" × 7.5" × 1") features velcro loop lining and dummy cord attachment points. A front zippered flat pocket handles phone, keys, and small essentials. The included stabilizer kit locks the bag in place—users report doing burpees without movement.
Built by First Spear in the USA from 500D Cordura, construction quality matches the $115 price point. The thinner profile compared to Hill People Gear's original Kit Bag makes it purpose-built for athletic use. Note: the compartment doesn't accommodate large-frame revolvers like S&W N-frames.
