Die Free
Ergonomic 12-degree pistol grip designed to reduce ulnar nerve tension
The Die Free Kung Fu Grip runs a 12-degree angle, one of the most vertical options available, and backs it up with an ergonomic profile specifically designed to reduce ulnar nerve tension. Where most steep-angle grips focus solely on wrist alignment, the Kung Fu Grip addresses the nerve compression that causes hand fatigue and numbness during extended shooting sessions. The grip geometry aligns hand, wrist, and forearm into a natural position that minimizes strain across all common shooting postures.
The enhanced finger groove on the front strap is a deliberate design choice, not an A2-style afterthought. Paired with the steep angle, it guides the trigger finger into repeatable placement and discourages the death grip that causes fatigue. The retro texture finish provides consistent traction without the aggressive knurling that tears up bare hands on long range days. A battery storage cavity in the grip body accepts an optional plug accessory.
Made from durable nylon and manufactured in the USA, the Kung Fu Grip is compatible with AR-15, AR-10, MCX, and MPX platforms. Some receiver configurations may show a small aesthetic gap between the grip tang and receiver, which does not affect function. At $20, it competes directly with the Magpul K2 while offering a steeper angle and an ergonomic philosophy that prioritizes hand health over pure aesthetics.
