Lancer Systems' Carbon Fiber Handguard for the SIG MPX is the premium-tier handguard upgrade for shooters who want the lightest possible front end and the best thermal performance for hard suppressed use. The carbon-fiber tube weighs just 3.07 oz, which is roughly 50% less than the OEM aluminum handguard and meaningfully lighter than the Midwest Industries aluminum equivalent.

Two performance benefits matter on the MPX. First, weight savings forward of the receiver shifts the balance point closer to the shooter's center of mass, which makes the gun snappier in transitions and easier to drive one-handed during reloads. Second, carbon fiber has a much lower rate of thermal conductivity than aluminum, so during sustained suppressed strings the handguard surface temperature climbs more slowly and stays cooler in the support hand. The 1.6-inch inside diameter clears most 9mm suppressors for a true over-the-can configuration.
