Overview

The TASER Bolt 2 uses the same core defensive system as the Pulse 2 in a body that does not resemble a compact pistol. It fires a single 15-foot probe cartridge and runs for about 30 seconds after activation, giving the user a chance to leave the device and escape. A laser and LED light provide the aiming reference, and the front electrodes remain available for contact use after a miss or an expended cartridge.

The safety cap is the Bolt 2's practical distinction. It covers the loaded cartridge during carry and storage, then moves clear when the device is armed. The battery pack supports about 50 full cycles or one year under normal storage conditions, and the cartridge is shared with the Pulse family.

The Bolt 2 is not a higher-capacity alternative to the Pulse 2. Both are single-shot devices with the same 15-foot cartridge and 30-second cycle. Choose the Bolt 2 for its discreet shape and covered cartridge. Choose the Pulse 2 for familiar pistol-style handling and a wider holster ecosystem.
