Elite Tactical Systems H&K MP5 30-Round Magazine (Carbon Smoke)

The Elite Tactical Systems Carbon Smoke MP5 magazine is the value spare for an SP5 or MP5. It is molded from ETS's translucent Carbon Smoke polymer, so you can see the round stack and get a quick count without pulling the magazine or counting witness holes. At around $30 it costs roughly a third of a genuine German HK steel magazine, which makes it the sensible choice for stacking up range spares.

ETS builds these from a proprietary polymer blend designed to resist cracking and take a drop better than older polymer MP5 mags. The translucent body is the headline feature for range use, and the magazine drops into the standard MP5 magazine well with the correct HK feed geometry. It fits the HK MP5, SP5, MP5K, SP5K, HK94, and SP89.

This is the routable, in-stock spare when you do not need genuine HK steel. For a defensive or hard-use primary, the steel HK magazine is still the reference; for cheap, plentiful, count-at-a-glance range mags, the ETS is the pick.
