This is the genuine German-made, all-steel factory HK MP5 magazine, the reference standard against which every other MP5 magazine is judged. It is the same magazine HK ships with the SP5 and issues on the military MP5, built from stamped steel with the classic curved MP5 body and a steel follower. If you want the surest feeding and the closest thing to a lifetime magazine for a roller-delayed 9mm, this is it.

The all-steel construction is the reason to pay the premium. Polymer MP5 magazines work, but the steel HK mag sets the durability and reliability bar, and it is the mag most owners standardize on for defensive or hard-use roles. It fits the full MP5 family: MP5, SP5, MP5K, SP5K, HK94, and SP89, plus clones cut to the HK magazine profile.
