SilencerCo
KSG-specific external adapter that mounts a Salvo 12 shotgun suppressor with an improved-cylinder choke.
Suppressing a Kel-Tec KSG runs through the SilencerCo Salvo 12, the modular shotgun suppressor, and the Salvo 12 mounts to the KSG with this KSG-specific choke adapter. The KSG has a cylinder-bore smoothbore barrel with no factory choke threads, so the adapter is an external interface that fits the KSG barrel and presents the locking interface the Salvo 12 clamps onto. It carries an improved-cylinder choke profile, so it does not tighten the pattern, which keeps the KSG's defensive buckshot spread intact while adding the suppressor mount.
The adapter itself is not a regulated item; it is a standard mounting accessory. The Salvo 12 suppressor it mounts is the NFA item and requires the normal suppressor process: a Form 4 transfer, fingerprints, a background check, and NFA registration. Under current law the federal making and transfer tax on suppressors is zero, and eForm approvals are running on the order of days to a couple of weeks, but the registration and background-check steps still apply. Suppressor ownership is legal in 42 states; confirm your state allows it before buying the can.
For a KSG owner who already runs or plans to run a Salvo 12, this adapter is the required mounting hardware. It is the KSG-specific SilencerCo AC1347 part and does not fit other shotguns.
