Comet Barrel (S&W SW22 Victory)

The TANDEMKROSS Comet Barrel is a 2.690 inch stainless bull barrel that turns the SW22 Victory into a dedicated suppressor host. The point of the short length is overall length: bolting a .22 LR can onto a factory 5.5 inch barrel produces an unwieldy pistol, while the Comet puts the suppressor roughly where the factory barrel used to end. It ships with an adjustable, removable thumb ledge already installed.

The short barrel also does ballistic work. Less barrel means less time for the powder charge to accelerate the bullet, which keeps cheap 36gr bulk high-velocity ammunition subsonic near sea level. That matters because the supersonic crack is what a suppressor cannot remove, so a subsonic load on a short barrel is what actually produces a quiet shot without buying dedicated subsonic ammunition.

Read the intended-use note before buying: TANDEMKROSS designs this barrel around a standard .22 LR suppressor and states it may not function unsuppressed, or with over-bored 9mm and .30 caliber cans, because the barrel relies on the can for back pressure. The muzzle threads are 1/2x28, the standard rimfire pitch. TANDEMKROSS also restricts shipment to California, Connecticut, D.C., Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Washington.
