Overview
The Springer Precision Competition Magwell opens up the grip on the polymer full-size M&P 2.0 for faster reloads in USPSA Limited, Limited Optics, and Open. It is CNC machined and anodized, measures 1.9 inches wide, and weighs 1.2 ounces in aluminum. Springer also offers brass versions for shooters who want extra weight low in the grip. It installs with no modification to the frame.
Fitment is specific: this magwell is only for the polymer M&P 2.0 full-size in 9mm and .40, not the metal-frame guns. Like most competition magwells it requires a magazine extension to fill the longer opening, so Springer specifies its own magazine extension or a basepad designed for this magwell. Springer does not guarantee compatibility with other manufacturers' basepads, so build the magazine package around Springer's parts.
