Victory Trigger (Walther P22)

The Walther P22 ships with a long, spongy trigger that is the single most common complaint about an otherwise pleasant plinker. The TANDEMKROSS Victory Trigger replaces the shoe with a CNC-machined aluminum unit that has a flat, aggressively textured face and a finger stop molded into the lower edge, so the trigger finger lands in the same place shot after shot rather than sliding around a curved polymer face.

The functional change is travel, not weight. Pre-travel and over-travel are both reduced, which shortens the distance between taking up slack and breaking the shot and shortens the recovery to reset. On a rimfire pistol shot at speed, that is usually worth more than a pound off the pull. Importantly, the Victory keeps the P22 double action / single action operation intact, so the first-shot double action pull and the decocker behavior work exactly as they did from the factory.

The flat face also changes leverage. Placing the finger lower on a flat shoe increases the mechanical advantage over the same pull weight, which most shooters read as a lighter break even though the springs are untouched. TANDEMKROSS lists fitment for the Walther P22, the P22Q, and the P22CA. The trigger shoe is aluminum rather than polymer, so it will outlast the factory part.
