Wilson Combat
Wilson Combat's Ultralight Match Trigger is the trigger Wilson Combat installs in their custom shop pistols, available as a drop-in upgrade for any full-size 1911 frame (Government or Commander).
The Wilson Combat Ultralight Match Trigger is the most-installed aftermarket 1911 trigger in the country and the trigger Wilson Combat ships in their custom shop pistols (CQB, Tactical Carry, Sentinel, Bill Wilson Carry). The pad is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum with a serrated front face and the signature three-hole skeletonized profile. Total weight is just over 90 grains, low enough to reduce trigger inertia and produce the crisp, glassy break that Wilson Tactical pistols are known for.
The bow is hardened stainless steel polished to a mirror finish to eliminate friction against the frame rails. An adjustable over-travel set screw on the rear of the trigger pad lets a gunsmith dial in zero post-break travel, the single most important variable in 1911 trigger feel. The trigger ships fit for current US-production full-size 1911 frames (Government and Commander share the same frame and trigger group); minor sear-spring adjustment and pad fitting are typically required to realize the full break, budget $75-150 for gunsmith time on top of the part cost.
Available in long pad (190 / 190B black), medium pad (190M), short pad (190S), no-hole solid pad (190NH), and flat pad in matte silver (190F). Long pad is the default for shooters with average-to-large hands; short pad is preferred by competition shooters and small-handed users for faster reach to the trigger face.
