Quick Stands are the bracket half of a target stand, which is the half worth buying. Add one full-length 2x4 and two more cut in half and the result is a 48-inch wide, 36-inch tall stand with a base wide enough to stand on flat ground without stakes. The economics are the point: lumber is the sacrificial part, and a 2x4 that has taken a hundred strays costs less to replace than a box of ammunition.
