PSA Dagger Compact optic footprint: what red dots fit
The PSA Dagger Compact takes red dots on a single footprint. The RMR slide is milled for the Trijicon RMR pattern and nothing else, which makes it one of the simplest fits in the budget compact class: any dot on that footprint bolts straight to the steel with no adapter plate in between. The Trijicon RMR Type 2, the SRO and the RCR all land on it, along with the Holosun 507C and 508T, the Swampfox Kraken, the Riton 3 Tactix PRD 3 and C&H Precision's COMP and EDC-XL. Micro patterns such as the Shield RMSc and Holosun K do not, and neither do the larger enclosed 509T and Aimpoint ACRO footprints.
Read the slide name before you buy glass. PSA builds the Dagger Compact both ways: the Extreme Carry Cuts pistols that do not carry RMR in the name have a plain slide with no pocket and no optic mount on the spec sheet, and no plate can add one. The models that do say RMR run across SW1, SW2 and SW4 slides and threaded or non-threaded barrels, and they leave the factory with a cover plate over the pocket. The Dagger Micro is a different pistol again, built on a Shield cut, so a dot sized for this RMR pocket has no home on one.

No. The Compact's RMR pocket is a larger pattern with different screw spacing, and a micro dot has nothing to line up with. Those optics belong on the Dagger Micro, which PSA builds on a Shield cut instead.
Does the Dagger Compact ship with a cover plate?
Yes. The RMR-cut slides include a cover plate over the optic pocket, so the pistol runs on irons out of the box and the plate comes off when you mount a dot. Keep it: it is the part that seals the pocket if the optic ever comes back off.
