Compact open-emitter carry optic on the RMSc footprint with red, green, and MRS variants

The Shadow Systems MR920P Elite has a dedicated multi-footprint optic cut, not a plate system. Shadow Systems mills one pocket that accepts several red dot patterns directly and locates each one with footprint-matched screws and a polymer compression spacer, so nothing sits between the optic body and the slide. Trijicon RMR pattern dots land on it, along with the Holosun 507C and 508T, and the RMSc-pattern micros including the 407K, the 507K and the enclosed EPS Carry. The screw and spacer pack ships with the pistol, and the small enclosed Holosun optics take their own spacer kit. Because there is no plate in the stack the dot sits low, which is what puts the standard-height factory sights at a lower 1/3 co-witness.
The trap here is generational rather than model-specific. Shadow Systems ran an earlier RMR-style optic cut, the one on the MR918, and it is a different pocket with its own mounting screws and its own cover plate. Neither crosses to the current multi-optic cut, so buy small parts by generation and not just by brand. The second thing to get right is the hardware itself: this cut is screw and spacer specific, so a dot in a supported footprint still needs the screw pair sized for it, and Holosun EPS, EPS Carry and K-series optics use a separate kit from the three pairs that ship in the box.
These optics carry the Holosun 507C / RMR / Shield RMSc footprint the slide is cut for. Screws, recoil bosses, and pocket all line up, so they seat on the slide with no plate.

Not for a dot in a pattern the cut is built around. The optic bolts to the slide with the matching screw pair and a compression spacer that keys into the pocket, which is the whole point of the design: longer screw engagement, no plate stack, and a lower mounting height than a plate system can reach.
Not the screws in the standard pack. Shadow Systems sells a separate EPS/K spacer kit with its own pair of mounting screws for the Holosun EPS, EPS Carry and K-series optics, and the same kit works for other dots on the RMSc footprint. The spacer is a saddle-style part that tensions against the optic body rather than a mounting plate.
