Compact open-emitter carry optic on the RMSc footprint with red, green, and MRS variants

The Springfield Hellcat OSP slide is cut for one footprint, the Shield RMSc pattern, and it takes that optic directly with nothing in between. Springfield mills the pocket, the recoil lugs, and the screw holes into the slide itself, so an RMSc-pattern micro dot seats on bare slide steel at the lowest height this pistol can give you. Springfield names the Shield RMSc among the micro red dots the OSP slide accepts, and that pattern has since become the default interface for the whole micro-compact class, from tiny open-emitter dots to enclosed carry optics. Holosun's K-pattern optics are the exception worth understanding before you buy, because the lug counts do not line up.
OSP is the entire decision on a Hellcat. Springfield still lists a 3-inch Hellcat with a fiber optic front sight and a billet-machined slide, SKU HC9319BFO, and that slide has no pocket, no lugs, and no screw holes. Nothing bolts to it short of a milling service or a replacement slide. Every OSP and RDP model carries the cut. Look at the top of the slide behind the rear sight: a recessed pocket means OSP, unbroken slide steel means the fiber optic model.
These optics carry the Shield RMSc footprint the slide is cut for. Screws, recoil bosses, and pocket all line up, so they seat on the slide with no plate.

Not as a drop-in. The Hellcat OSP cut is the Shield RMSc pattern, which stands four recoil lugs up in the pocket, and a Holosun K-pattern optic has only two lug pockets in its base. Two slide lugs are left with nowhere to seat. The two real fixes are the adapter hardware Holosun ships with its K-series optics, or filing the extra lugs off the slide, which is a permanent change to the slide. An RMSc-pattern optic in the other direction is a clean drop-in.
Yes. The Hellcat Pro is the longer-grip, longer-slide version of the same pistol and its slide carries the same OSP cut, not a Pro-specific one. The 3.8-inch RDP uses that cut too. Mounting hardware sold for the Hellcat OSP fits all three.
