The PRS Match Rifle is a custom precision-rifle plan for a finished 6.5 Creedmoor, built from the action out on the Remington 700 footprint. A Zermatt TL3 action sits in a MasterPiece Arms BA Hybrid chassis with a PROOF Research Sendero carbon-fiber .264 blank, a TriggerTech Special trigger, and an Arken EP-5 5-25x56 in Hawkins 34mm rings. A CKYE-POD bipod and a Game Changer support bag finish the match setup.
The defining choice is the PROOF blank. A precision-rifle gunsmith chambers it for 6.5 Creedmoor, cuts the TL3 tenon, sets headspace, and finishes the muzzle. That action-specific work costs more than a universal barrel-nut claim, but it gives this exact action and barrel a real fit instead of treating a shared chassis footprint as barrel compatibility.

Why this build
The action and chassis are the two parts you should not cheap out on, because everything else bolts to them. The Zermatt TL3 is a controlled-round-feed custom action with a floating interchangeable bolt head, a pinned rail, and broad support for action-specific prefits and gunsmith-fit blanks. The MPA BA Hybrid brings real match features at a crossover weight: V-bedding, an adjustable buttstock, a bag rider, and a full-length ARCA rail for the bipod and barricade accessories.
The glass philosophy is budget-conscious on purpose. The Arken EP-5 gives you a 34mm first-focal-plane scope with a zero stop and enough elevation travel for any PRS stage, and it has become the default answer for shooters who want to spend their budget on the action and barrel where precision actually comes from. The Hawkins Heavy Tactical rings carry an offset anti-cant level, which matters more at 800 yards than another tier of glass does.
The support gear is match gear, not range-day filler.
