TANDEMKROSS
Scalloped forward thumb rest for the Mark IV 22/45 frame that adds a contact point ahead of the grip for recoil control.

A forward thumb rest is standard equipment on a competition pistol and absent from almost every rimfire. The Accelerator adds one to the Mark IV 22/45: a scalloped shelf ahead of the grip that the support-hand thumb drives against, turning a two-point hold into a three-point one and keeping the muzzle from climbing between shots.
The effect shows up on strings rather than single shots. With the thumb loaded against the ledge the pistol tracks flatter and returns closer to where it left, which is why steel challenge and rimfire competition shooters run them. TANDEMKROSS describes installation as easy and non-permanent, and lists fitment as the Mark IV 22/45 on either a factory lower or the company's own Cthulhu Lower.
The tradeoff is carry. TANDEMKROSS states plainly that the accessory may prevent holster compatibility and that holster modification or a custom holster may be required. On a range and competition pistol that is a non-issue; on a trail gun that lives in a holster it is the deciding factor. Red and black are the available finishes.
