Overview

The Alias Belt is what makes the rest of NeoMag's belt-mounted gear work. It uses a Tegris core wrapped in Cordura, which is the same thermoplastic-composite approach used in racing safety gear, so it holds a holster up without the ratchet mechanism or double-layer nylon most stiff EDC belts rely on. Along its length is a laser-cut hole pattern, and Alias receivers bolt into any of those positions.

That hole pattern is the actual feature. A holster or pouch running an Alias clip snaps onto a receiver and comes off the same way, so moving a holster from appendix to 4 o'clock, or pulling the whole rig off before sitting down, does not mean unthreading a belt through pants loops. Closure is a velcro strap through a polymer buckle with an elastic section built in for comfort, which is quieter and lower-profile than a Cobra buckle. The Cobra-buckle version of the same belt sells for $149.99 if quick-release matters more than concealment.

Sizing runs 26 to 46 and NeoMag says to buy the pants size, with about two inches of adjustment either way, so a 34 belt covers a 32 to 36 waist. It ships with one Alias Belt Receiver and hardware, which is enough for a single holster; additional receivers are sold separately for spare mags, tourniquets, and the rest.
