Team Wendy
Non-ballistic polycarbonate bump helmet sharing the EXFIL Rail 3.0, integrated shroud, and CAM FIT retention with the Ballistic version. The right buy if you want NVG mounting and accessory rails without the ballistic-shell price.
The Team Wendy EXFIL LTP (Lightweight Tactical Polymer) bump helmet at $436.80 is the right answer for shooters who want a real NVG platform without paying for a ballistic shell. It uses the same integrated Wilcox-pattern shroud, EXFIL Rail 3.0, CAM FIT retention with BOA dial, and Zorbium impact liner as the EXFIL Ballistic, so every NVG mount, light, headset, and counterweight that fits the Ballistic version fits the LTP unchanged.
The shell is impact-modified polycarbonate, which delivers actual impact protection (think jumping in/out of vehicles, low-light snag hazards, range falls), but it does not stop bullets or fragmentation. For training, NVG familiarization, airsoft and force-on-force, and recreational use where the threat model is impact rather than ballistic, that is the correct trade. The LTP also ships with two Magpul MOE 5-slot Picatinny rails and a shock cord kit, which the Ballistic version does not include in the base price.
Pricing varies sharply: $436.80 direct from Team Wendy is the authoritative number with the current Rail 3.0 spec. Older Rail 2.0 closeout stock has appeared on Amazon and other channels at $179-200, but those are last-generation systems with the older rail interface. If the picture on the listing does not show Rail 3.0, you are looking at the older version.
