Overview
The Single Pistol TACO is the smallest useful pouch in the GEN 2 line and the one that ends up on the most belts. It holds one handgun magazine, and because retention is shock cord rather than a molded shell, the same pouch takes a double-stack 9mm, a single-stack, or a 10mm magazine without swapping hardware.
That same flexibility makes it a competent utility pouch. HSGI lists a flashlight, knife or multi-tool as intended alternates, which is why these often end up doubling as a light pouch on a duty belt rather than sitting empty between reloads.
Construction is the GEN 2 recipe: laser-cut nylon laminate over woven thermoplastic, up to 20% lighter than the Original depending on SKU, with updated molded sides that route the shock cord tails into channels instead of leaving them exposed. One HSGI clip ships in the box, and the half-inch MOLLE spacing feeds a belt directly if you would rather skip the clip. Multiple over-top retention options are available for closed-top setups.
