Overview

The Spiritus Systems Placard 5.56 X .45 uses elastic cells that conform around magazines and similarly shaped equipment. Open webbing at the base lets the cells flex without tapering shut, while exterior laminate loops provide points for retention cord or a grip when inserting gear.

The carrier-facing side is fully lined with hook material. Two top male buckles mate with compatible female hardware on a plate bag, then the hook field seats against the carrier loop field to stabilize the load. The listed internal cell dimensions are 5.25 inches high, 2.25 inches long, and 1 inch wide.

Each corner has a loop of 1 inch webbing for the included ITW Nexus hardware. Those loops can also take Spiritus chest-rig straps, turning the same placard into a small standalone load panel when a plate carrier is not needed.
