HKparts MP5/MP5K Extended Cocking Handle

The HKparts extended cocking handle is a cheap, high-value ergonomic fix for the MP5's most awkward manual-of-arms quirk. The factory HK cocking handle is small, and the "HK slap" needed to chamber a round from the forward hold takes practice and a firm hand. This billet replacement roughly doubles the grab area, giving the support hand far more purchase to pull the handle to the rear and slap it home.

The wider handle also clears obstructions. Bulkier aftermarket handguards and receiver-mounted optics can crowd the factory cocking tube; the extended handle gives you something to grab that stands proud of that hardware. It installs in place of the factory cocking piece with no permanent modification on a compatible host.

Fitment covers the MP5, HK94, MP5SD, Z5-RS, MP5K, SP5K, and SP89, plus most clones cut to the HK cocking-tube profile. It does not fit the MKE AP5, AP5-P, or the MAC-5 without modification, so confirm your exact host before ordering.
