Overview

Phase 5 built the ABL/CHA716 around the SIG716 charging-handle channel instead of the common DPMS Gen I / LR-308 pattern. The manufacturer limits it to SIG716 and SIG716i TREAD .308 rifles, while its separate ABL/CHA308 listing explicitly excludes the SIG716.

The handle is machined from 7075 aluminum and uses broad ambidextrous contact surfaces. Its latch and handle stop together at full travel, and a stainless coiled spring pin supports repeated use.

Choose this model for a SIG716i TREAD. A generic AR-10 charging handle is not a substitute for this host-specific assembly.
