Strike Industries
Extended polymer charging handle for CZ Scorpion EVO 3 at a fraction of the HBI Theta price
The Strike Industries Scorpion Charging Handle is the budget alternative to the HBI Theta. The factory Scorpion charging handle is a small polymer hook that is fine for casual range use but uncomfortable to manipulate with gloves, in cold weather, or under any kind of pressure; Strike's replacement adds significant surface area for the firing-hand index finger or off-hand to grip while keeping the polymer construction that makes it cheap.
Installation is direct drop-in with no fitting. The factory charging handle pulls off, the Strike unit pushes on, and the original retention captures it. The extended profile clears the factory polymer handguard with no interference. At $18, this is the cheapest meaningful upgrade you can put on a Scorpion outside of a magazine or grip, and for shooters who want the ergonomics improvement without committing to the HBI Theta's $62 price tag, it covers the basics.
The trade-off versus the Theta is real but predictable. The Theta is 6061-T6 aluminum body with a 17-4 stainless rod and nitride finish; the Strike is reinforced polymer throughout. For high-round-count training, full-auto Scorpion variants, or hard-use duty builds, the Theta justifies its price. For range, home defense, and casual training, the Strike unit does what the upgrade is supposed to do and saves $44.
