Strike Industries
Extended ambidextrous magazine release for CZ Scorpion EVO 3 at a budget price point
The Strike Industries Scorpion Mag Release covers the same ergonomics ground as the Magpul MOE-EVO mag release: an extended ambidextrous paddle that fixes the factory release's small surface and awkward firing-hand reach. Both upgrades cost about the same, both are drop-in with a 5/32 roll pin punch, and both are polymer. The choice between them is largely about availability and whether you have committed to a Magpul or Strike Industries aesthetic across the build.
Strike's design uses a slightly different paddle geometry than the Magpul, with sharper rear ridges and a flatter activation surface. Some shooters prefer the more aggressive feel; others find the Magpul's rounded ridges more comfortable. Functionally they produce the same outcome, a one-handed press-and-strip reload that does not break firing-hand grip.
Pair this with the SI Overmolded Grip and SI Charging Handle for a budget Strike Industries control package, or mix with Magpul ergonomics. The release qualifies as a US-made part for 922(r) compliance on imported carbines.
