Strike Industries
Rubber-overmolded pistol grip for CZ Scorpion EVO 3 with thumb shelf and AR-style angle
The Strike Industries Overmolded Enhanced Pistol Grip is the rubber-overmolded answer to the Magpul MOE-EVO. The factory Scorpion grip's awkward angle and slick polymer surface have driven shooters to aftermarket grips for years; Strike's take pairs an AR-style steeper angle with a rubber overmold over a polymer core, plus an integrated thumb shelf that the Magpul does not have. The result is a grip that fills the hand more aggressively than the MOE-EVO and is noticeably grippier in wet or sweaty conditions.
Installation is drop-in and identical to the Magpul: factory grip screw out, swap, screw back in, two minutes with a 3mm hex. The rubber overmold extends across the front strap, back strap, and side panels with a coarse texture that grips reliably with or without gloves. The integrated thumb shelf provides a positive index point for the firing-hand thumb, which is helpful for shooters running an enclosed red dot or ergonomic optics that benefit from a consistent presentation.
Trade-offs are real. Rubber overmold absorbs solvents and oils faster than polymer-only grips like the MOE-EVO, so cleaning sprays should be wiped off the grip rather than left to soak. The thumb shelf is not removable, so shooters with smaller hands may find it pushes the wrist into a slightly forced position. At $32 it costs roughly $5 more than the Magpul; the choice between them is a matter of texture preference and whether you specifically want the thumb shelf.
